Damaged frame patterns are replaced by taking casts from either the frame, or from our existing stock of traditional boxwood moulds. In many cases this may involve careful cutting and rejoining old frames. We are also able to repair carved frames.

It is crucial to get the finish exactly right. This could involve touching-in the finish of the damaged piece with the original frame, or totally re-gilding the repaired frame.
